In 1971, Ed and Lorraine Warren, who were paranormal investigators at the time, were enlisted by the Perron family, the farmhouse’s owners, to help them after they had several unexplained incidents.
One of the most well-known haunted houses in the country, the 3,000 square foot Harrisville residence is currently listed for $1.2 million through Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. To profit from its esoteric ties, it rents itself out to intrepid paranormal investigators and amateur ghost hunters who hope to have a close encounter with the paranormal.
